Ann is a Senior Advisor with JW Michaels & Co., advising leading law firms and senior legal talent on partner recruitment, strategic group moves, and high-level associate hiring across major U.S. legal markets. With more than 15 years of experience in the legal search industry, she has counseled Am Law firms, elite boutiques, and global practices on complex lateral hiring mandates, talent strategy, and market positioning.
Having spent more than five years in London, Ann brings significant cross-border experience and has worked extensively with Am Law 50–200 firms, Magic Circle, Silver Circle, and other leading international law firms on U.S. expansion, transatlantic hiring, and strategic lateral searches. Her work is informed by deep market intelligence, longstanding relationships, and a nuanced understanding of partner mobility, practice-group dynamics, and the competitive forces shaping the legal sector.
Ann has authored thought leadership for The American Lawyer, Law.com International, and The Law Society Gazette, and has been quoted in Law.com on issues affecting the legal talent market.
With a focus on the intersection of talent, strategy, and firm growth, Ann is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Human Capital Management at Columbia University, where she was awarded a Merit-Based Institutional Fellowship by the School of Professional Studies. She previously earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Berkeley College.
